A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women PG & Research Department of Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics was established in 1974 with 50 students and Ms. N. Savitri and Mrs. S. Porkodi as Faculty members.The Department was upgraded as PG Department of Mathematics in the year 1985. M.Phil. Programme was introduced under the unaided stream in 2007. The Department has been recognized as Research Centre in the year 2018 and one more batch of B.Sc. Mathematics has been started in the unaided stream in the same year.
